I added an esim to my mobile so I now have two plans active. Since adding the eSim, there is no option within my mobile data settings to select personal hotspot. It doesn’t exist as an option any more. I have tried resetting my network settings but no joy. Any ideas as to how to recover this functionality? I really need it for work.

apparently some carriers require an additional APN setting,I just wrote internet in it and it works now

thanks for the reply. The issue here is that the option doesn’t even appear in my settings anymore? I’m using dual sim, and one of those sims is my long time carrier who I’ve always been able to hotspot with - so it doesn’t make sense that the option has just disappeared within my settings. It doesn’t seem like it would be a carrier related issue.
Hotspot is a service of your carrier, contact them for help.

If it was solved, it was solved by contacting the carrier.
Well before setting up the eSIM everything was working fine and I know for a fact that bought sims have hotspot available
eSIM and Hotspot settings are controlled by your carrier.
What did your carrier say when you contacted them?
