iOS Apps in Alphabetical order

Why hasn’t Apple responded to the question of why apps are not automatically placed in alphabetical order. Since the inception of stacked widgets you would think they would fix having to reset Home Screen thus resetting your stacked widgets as well. So, what’s the answer?
