I have turned predictive text off (and autocorrect). However, if i have typed a long message or post if I have made an error when I put the cursor at the end if the word to alter instead of being able to delete it a box with “select select all ‘scan sign’” comes up. The only other option is “paste select select all”. It is driving me mad. Any ideas?

There are two ways.
The simplest way to fix a misspelled word would be to place your finger on the enter text bar and slide it up and around to where you want to fix either the word or a letter in the word.
For example, here is a misspelled word: pyschiatrist. If I place my finger on the enter text bar and slide the cursor into the word, I can place the cursor after the p, then enter s, to fix the word I have misspelled.
