Mac Pro Mojave (mid 2010) 2 x 3.46 ghz V Apple Macbook Pro 16" 2021

I have two computers, an old Mac Pro 2010 12core (upgraded) and my Brilliant 16" 2021 Macbook Pro. Should I sell the 2010 Mac Pro and buy a dock instead for the extra speed? I write and teach music and just need to make sure there are going to be no issues.

I will be buying this adapter to output to dual monitors and an this 4TB ssd drive.

Any thoughts before I sell the Mac Pro. It's been such a great computer - I'm torn, however I can't install new software on it due to the age of the operating system on the Mac Pro.

Thanks

? seems a very personal decision.

I keep both backup hardware just like backup software — especially if your livelihood depends on computer access.

Personally I would not invest in a 13 year old mac....
