Location Sharin

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you.

We understand that you're wanting to see your child's location. For this to occur, they will need to set up location sharing on their device. You can read more about this here: Share your location with your family - Apple Support.

"If you already set up a Family Sharing group

In iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 or later:

1. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings.
2. Tap Family. 
3. Tap Location Sharing.
4. Under Share Your Location With, tap to choose which family members to share your location with. 

In iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 or earlier:

1. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings.
2. Tap your name, then tap Family Sharing.
3. Tap Location Sharing.
4. Tap Share My Location. 

If you haven't set up Family Sharing yet 

1. On your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, open the Find My app.
2. Tap or click the People tab.
3. Select a family member's name, then select it again to see the menu.
4. Tap or click Share My Location."
