How do I turn off notifications about Weather using my location?

On my iPad, I frequently receive a notification about Apple's Weather app using my location Always. I don't care about this. I always just tap the option to keep allowing this app to do so, but the notification inevitably comes up again around 5-7 days later.

I tried to turn off these alerts under Location Services settings (Privacy & Security) but the only app I can do this for is Maps. I'm prudent about which apps and services I allow access to my location to so I really wish I could just turn these off completely, along with other reminders of this nature.

I feel like a child here because these kinds of alerts are so patronizing and there seems to be no way I can control them. Thank God I don't have an iPhone.

If you find the periodic security notifications to be bothersome, have you considered changing the Weather App's location permissions from Always to While Using the App or Widgets?

Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Weather - set permission as preferred
