MediaRemoteUI is a notification that appears on the lock screen of your iPhone XR when you are playing media, such as music, podcasts, or videos. It allows you to control playback without unlocking your phone, such as by skipping tracks, adjusting the volume, or pausing the media.

The MediaRemoteUI notification is a white box with a play/pause button, a skip forward button, and a skip backward button. There is also a volume slider. If you are listening to a podcast, the notification will also show the name of the podcast and the episode that is playing.

If you are not playing any media, the MediaRemoteUI notification will not appear on your lock screen. However, if you have recently played media, the notification may still appear for a short period of time.

If you want to get rid of the MediaRemoteUI notification, you can swipe it away. You can also press and hold on the notification until it disappears.
