How to push update

I have kept my tablet on charge and connected to WiFi multiple times during night and it will not auto update

You can go into Settings > General > Software Update and see if there is an update available. If it shows that there is an update, you can click on Download & Install or Install whichever shows up at the bottom. If it’s already downloaded the update then you will see just update, if it needs to download the update before installing then you’ll see the Download & Install. Either way, when you click it, it will ask you to enter the passcode that you have setup on your iPad and then it will continue with the update. As long as your iPad has a charge over 50% it shouldn’t give you any issues. Just click on that, and allow the iPad to do what it needs to do and follow the prompts.
