Iphone screw damaged by service centre

My iphone 13 Pro had an issue of green screen for which I got CS code from apple however upon submitting the phone to the service centre where it was opened for the first time by a technician the screw was broken by them. Now they are saying it is tampered. I have never taken my phone to any third party till date. I am struggling without phone for last 20 days. Please help. How do I fight here when I have not done anything wrong.

First of all, I'm really sorry that you have to go through this. I have had this happen when I went to get my phone repaired at an AT&T Store, the technician was allegedly Apple certified, and he completely stripped out the screws. They are also made of a soft metal, and can be damaged relatively easily.

I am assuming that you went to an Apple store to get your phone serviced. Firstly, I would recommend going to this website:

https://getsupport.apple.com/topics

and see if you can ship your phone in for repair.

If that doesn't work, I would take it to an apple Authorised repair centre. here is a map of their locations around the world:

https://getsupport.apple.com/repair-locations?locale=en_CA

Finally, There is the Self Service Repair Programme, which is available in the EU, US, and UK. However, I would use this as a last resort as you probably will not get the best materials to remove a stripped screw.

I wish you the best of luck.
