I don’t have the notify when left behind for my AirPods and I am not sure if the AirPods for my find my is my case or the one AirPod I had in my ear

Yes, if you haven't already, activate "Lost Mode" for your AirPods. Should someone come across your missing AirPod & Case, they would have some means to contact you.
Most likely it is the one you have. That is, because if an AirPod is still in its charging case, and that case's lid is closed, it cannot be tracked via the Find My app.
Is there a way to turn on my notify when left behind to see where I left my case?
The AirPods charging case has no means to be found via the Find My Network system ... only the AIrPods themselves. As such, there is no way to enable "notify" for just the case itself.
My right AirPod is in the case, is there a way to track it still or no?
Again, if the case is closed, then no. If you are not seeing the other AirPod, then either the case is closed or the AirPod is no longer charged.
Any suggestions you have for me then?
