Notes contents go blank

I’ve had this ongoing problem for a couple of years, through two phones and many updates. While in the Notes app, the contents of a note will go completely blank. When I go back to the main page with the listing of notes, I can still see the notes, I can see the preview/1st line or so of the note, but when I click on it (on any note), it’s a completely empty screen. The only solution I have found is to turn off my phone and then turn it back on, in which case the note is restored. (simply leaving the app and re-opening it doesn’t work.) But it happens to me several times a day and is extremely inconvenient.

When will there be a fix for this?! It’s driving me crazy! 😵‍💫
