Offloaded app deleted

i offloaded minecraft to get storage but keep my data. i then tried redownloading but it was stuck and would not download from my home screen, so i went to the app store to redownload it from there. when i got on minecraft, all my data had been deleted despite me only offloading the app? im not sure how this happened but now all my data is gone. is there another way i shouldve gone about this issue or was this unavoidable? and also is there any way to get my worlds back?

Hello cabinnie,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. If you offload an app, the app is deleted but its data and settings remain on your device. Do you have an option to log into your account on Minecraft? Does the issue persist after logging in? Also, do you regularly back up your iPhone o iCloud or on your computer?

If you have a recent backup of your iPhone, you can try to restore it to retrieve your lost data.

In the meantime, check out the following link for information about how to free up space on your iPhone, and manage your storage:

We hope this information is useful. Kind regards.
