i bought an apple gift card, redeemed it and it said it was all good to go. but when i ent to try and buy a new song it said my payment declined, which makes no sense because it does say i have the money. its just not letting me use it. Ive tried signing out of the app store and even signed out of my apple ID and still no luck getting it to work, it keep declining it no matter what i try.

When redeeming a gift card, the amount will be credited to your Apple Account balance and set your Apple ID balance as your default payment.
If you have enough money in your Apple Account balance, all you have to do is -> you need to set your Apple Account balance as your default payment.
