Shazam causing battery drain

Anyone else having issues with battery drain from Shazam app? I turned off the background refresh and it’s still running in the background ALL the time even when I’m not using the phone. It’s killing my battery. I’ve had this app for years and never had this problem until the last week or so.

iPhone 12 mini, iOS 16

I would personally delete the app if I am certain the app is killing the Battery.

This has been reported by users of Shazam already in 2020 as far I can see from a quick web search. There hasn’t been any answer so far either, as far as I saw…

Very odd and sad a populair app like this is behaving so suspiciously. Don’t trust this.
