Air pods won’t stay in my ears

I recently bought a pair of AirPod 2s and they will not stay in my ears even when I am just sitting still. I bought them to wear under my ear muffs while cutting the grass but if one comes out they turn off. I am so frustrated that I am ready to throw them as far as I can. As much as they cost you would think they would at least stay in your ears. I even tried to tape them in and that didn’t work either. I have tried to find some size adjusters but can’t find any except for the AirPod pros.
