Sleep Settings Causing the Settings App to Crash

My iPhone 12 Pro is running the latest iOS and since the last update, Focus Sleep causes my device to crash back to Lock Screen and it becomes not available for hours, even with forced/hard reset, so inconvenient! It also messes up one of AppleWatch settings, making Sleep Focus schedule start way off the actual starting time. The worst is that the Setting app becomes completely unavailable, stays trying to process/to enter the Sleep Focus settings. Again, hard reset doesn’t solve the issue… usually takes hours or a day to become available again for me to be able to access Settings in general.

I would suggest that you back up your phone then restore it to factory settings and see how it works. If it works fine, you can either try reloading your back up or, restoring things manually/through syncing.

I recommend that you restore the phone using a computer as that will install a new copy of the iOS. Doing it from the phone itself just erases content.

if a 3rd party app is causing my phone to crash (and when it does it goes back to locked screen mode), wouldn’t it be happening at random times? Because it only happens if I go to Settings > Sleep Focus (then it crashes, every time) then Settings in general becomes unavailable for a while, I can’t change anything on my phone at all, can’t look up my subscriptions, nothing… it is just a black screen for a second or two and it crashes back to locked screen mode. I’m having a hard time believing this is related to another app… I don’t have any other app to track my sleep or sleep related.
