No, that is not possible.
You can have a credit card / debit card on file and an Apple Account balance.
Your default payment method will be used first by Apple when you need to make a payment.
If you have set your Apple Account balance as your default payment method and you have a CC / debit card, you pay from your default payment method.
If you have 2 CC, and you have set one CC as your default payment method that will be charge by Apple.

Normally, private and business purchases are kept separately. For business purchases, the company's CC is used and also from a business iPhone, with a business email address.

Thanks for answering so quickly. That’s what I also figured out. But it’s a little annoying because I have to set myself reminders to change the default method, to make sure the apps I use for business are paid from the correct cc.

It's not just Apple, other big tech also keeps private and business separate.
Microsoft and Google also have rules for private and business customers.

I agree with you - if everybody who is doing business would have a corporation. But that’s not the case. If somebody is just self-employed, they often share assets, especially phones or computers. The easiest way for those people to at least keep some separate records is by having multiple CCs. Think of Uber drivers, freelancers or other self-employed people.
For those(and I’m sure these are a lot nowadays) it would be a great to have such an option.

I understand what you’re talking of, but that is just from the provider perspective. I’m talking of the customer perspective.
Even a private person could have multiple credit cards and might find it helpful to pay different subscriptions with different credit cards.
