CAN I USE ADOBE FONTS IN PAGES?
If so, why are they not appearing, and if not why not?

yes, you should be able to use the Adobe Fonts app to add fonts to Pages.

In Pages, make sure check Format > Font > Show Fonts > All Fonts. Sometimes fonts will be available there which have not yet appeared in the drop down menu.
