Unable to enable Apple Pay. How to fix this?

Hi Team,

While enabling Apple Pay, getting the below error message:

“Apple Pay cannot be used when automatic login is enabled.”

But automatic login is already disabled in this computer. The mobile account is enabled for this particular user. So, I tried to enable Apple Pay on a local user account in the same computer. Still getting the same error.

System details:

OS: Ventura 13.5

Model: MacBook Air M2 2022

Could you please help me to fix the issue?

Hi, FileVault encryption was enabled on that MacBook. Done the below steps and issue resolved.

Disabled Encryption.
Restarted the laptop.
Automatic login was enabled. Turned it off.
Enabled Apple Pay.
Added cards successfully.

Do you have Touch ID and Two Factor Authentication turned on?

Let me check.

This is a MacBook. Some other guys in our organization already enabled Apple Pay and it is working fine without Two Factor Authentication.

On those systems, it was required to enable Touch ID only.

Touch ID is enabled.

But, no Two Factor Authentication. I didn't see any option for 2FA.
