You cannot install iOS 15 if you have an iPhone 6.

You need an iPhone 7 to install iOS 15.

You need an iPhone 8 to install iOS 16.

You need an iPhone XR or higher model to install iOS 17.

The OP's tag line indicated that they had an iPhone 6s. The 's' is significant – it indicates that the OP's iPhone is a more recent model that can run iOS 15.

You are asking about an earlier model of iPhone – one that will never be able to run iOS 13, let alone iOS 15.

If you want iOS 15, you will need an iPhone 7

If you want iOS 16, you will need an iPhone 8

If you want iOS 17 or 18, you will need an XR or higher model

You have already been told, you can not install anything later than 12.5.7 on your iPhone 6.

iOS 12 is the end of the line for iPhone 6 Plus.

If you have an app needing iOS 13 or later, you will need a newer or new iPhone.
