Is there a way for me to activate the numeric keypad instead of just having numbers straight across on my Mac Pro?

I need to use a keypad and not sure how to switch my letters to numbers it is going to take me far too long for work without one

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6

If the keyboard has a numeric keypad, it's a built-in feature and needs no activation. You just use it.

If it has no numeric keypad, you can't use what's not there.

If you're wanting to use certain alpha keys as numbers, that's going to take a lot of manipulation. I suggest if you need a numeric keypad and don't have one you buy a KB with a numeric keypad. Apple sells a good one .. we have three and they work as expected.
