My iPad Air 3 screen s very slow in responding and seems to have dead areas. Is this a common problem and what do you do to fix it?

Screen has dead areas when on landscape viewing but f I move to portrait it sometimes cures. Also fails to recognise keyboard

As described, given that some areas of the screen respond to touch while others don't, it is perhaps likely that you have a hardware fault that will require repair.


You would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad. If a fault is confirmed, you'll be in the best possible place to explore your available options:
