MAGSAFE CHARGING

My magsafe is not charging my iphone using laptop or wall usb c charger. i bought a magsafe charger a few days ago. it will not charge my iphone using the usb c port in my laptop. ive been trying every fix i could find online for the past 3 days nothing works. what it does is when you plug the magsafe into the usb c on my laptop and attach my iphone the green charging circle will appear on my iphone screen and when it disappears i can see the charging lightning symbol on my iphone but it will disappear after one second and the phone never charges even though everything is connected.

Greetings msa27,

If your MagSafe charger is not working as expected, these are the best steps to start with:

"Disconnect the USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable from your Mac and from the power adapter.
Disconnect the USB-C power adapter from the wall outlet.
Use a dry cloth to wipe the MagSafe 3 port and MagSafe 3 connector. Make sure both the port and connector are dry and clear of any debris.
Make sure the USB-C port on the power adapter and the USB-C connector are clear of any debris.
Restart your Mac.
Connect the USB-C power adapter to the wall outlet, connect the USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable to the power adapter and to your Mac, then try charging again." If your MagSafe cable or power adapter isn't working
