Iphone 14 ringer way too loud using airpods
When I have air pods pro in my ears receiving a new call, the ringer volume is way too high, ear-piercing levels. Any suggestions on how to lower the ringer volume?

The article How to set and change alarms on your iPhone - Apple Support has several options for controlling sounds. To help get you started, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringtone you will see and option to set the alert volume.
You can also use the Accessibility settings to control the volume of sounds. The steps below are found in Adjust the volume of sound effects for AirPods - Apple Support along with other steps you can try.
Change the volume of sound effects using iPhone or iPad
1. Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your device.
2. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings> Accessibility > AirPods.
3. Select your AirPods, then adjust Tone Volume.
