Lookout app very high cellular data usage

I download the Lookout app yesterday to help block some of the garbage that comes in network traffic. It’s a VPN and Firewall so it’s just filtering the phones traffic. Since installing last night prior to hanging it up for the night it already filtered 63 GB of cellular data. When I woke up this morning after sleeping and not using the phone it now was at 131 GB. My iPhone used 69 GB of data all while I was sleeping? Also since installing, I haven’t done any backups, no downloads at all, or no streaming video or music. In my whole life I’ve never used more than 40GB in an entire month let alone a single day using 130GB? My iPhone data plan is unlimited but no doubt I will get throttled if I have not been already. Can anyone help me understand this

Hey iCollect,

It appears the Lockdown app is using majority of the cellular data. If turned off, do you still have excessive usage on any other apps. If not, we recommend reaching out to the app developer for further assistance.

If you're unsure of how to locate the information, the tips in this article may help: How to contact an app developer.

Take care.
