How to get my hard drive to work again

MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2015)

MacBook Air Model: MacBookAir7,1

1 2.2 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7 (i7-5650U) CPU: 2-core

I was trying to delete my data because I purchase a new MacBook Air and it looks like I really messed it up. When I start the computer it gives me a question mark( ? )and I started the laptop with Command (⌘) and R and went to disk utility and I get this. How can I re-install the system? It looks like I deleted some important partition on my drive. Tried to use an old backup but I think I really messed it up. Can anybody help?

Thanks,

Elizabeth Rodriguez

Select Erase in the screenshot, and erase the device selected in the left column. Use Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and GUID Partition Map.

Then you can quit Disk Utility, which will return you to the Mac OS Utilities screen. Select Reinstall Mac OS or whatever equivalent choice appears.

If it was your intent to restore a Time Machine backup, that option also appears on that main Mac OS Utilities screen. The Restore tab selected in your screenshot refers to a different function.
