PLEASE HELP! I need to move the modwheel to get sound every time when I start Logic?

Every time when I start Logic, none of the instruments in my project sounds because the modwheel in those instruments are set to zero. To get sound I need to go through every track, move the modwheel on my keyboard to activate them. This is really a lot of extra work. I never had this problem with other orchestral packages before when I used for example garritan Personal Orchestra. I am using Kontakt 4 now. Is this a typical Kontakt problem or do I need to make a setting change somewhere in Logic?

[my midi keyboard do not have modwheel, I use the modulation parameter inside logic]

There are two places in Logic where you can adjust the general behaviour of midi cc messages. Look if you have accidentally "... set to zero" enabled.

Logic Pro > Preferences > Midi > Reset Messages

File > Project Settings > Midi > Clip Length

BTW, it's worth getting an additional USB controller to assign modulation (and expression) to a fader, since many libraries use these cc messages for dynamics, especially orchestral libraries. And, Kontakt is not a library, but a sampler where you can load libraries from different vendors.
