Best setup for remotely controlling Logic Pro from another location on same network?

I have a Mac mini M2 Pro running Logic and connected to all of my studio hardware. At different points of my composing/editing/recording process I sit down with pencil & paper to write lyrics, notate scores, organize, etc. I have a separate desk to do that with an older Mac & one small MIDI controller. But it would really be useful to actually work on the studio mini itself and not another Mac. Both these Macs are on the same gigabit switch. The desk/older Mac is stuck on Monterey. Is remote access limited by the resources of the remoting Mac? i.e. Would I get better response/performance, etc. by having a faster Mac (to remote from)? Further, does remoting in tax the host Mac running Logic? Is there a better way of accomplishing this?

Mac mini, macOS 13.5

I really don't understand your question. There are so many ways to remote control Logic or a computer. It's your choice how:

• with Logic Remote you are able to control certain aspects of logic in a very convenient way. Maybe it's already suffiicient.

• with TouchOsc you can (and you have to) customize your GUI. Works with tablet, smart phone, computer. A very powerful software, but can become a bit nerdy.

• by using AnyDesk (free) or TeamViewer ($$$), you can control your computer (not only logic) from any computer with any OS of any brand, from any tablet and smartphone. This is the solution without any limits.

And for all options no "magic" remoting computer is needed.
