iCloud storage is full. Just purchased more. What more do I need to do to have that reflect in my acct

My iCloud storage is full so I purchase more (the most available). It is still showing in my gmail & Google accts that I can not save or edit things b/c storage is full. What are the next steps I need to take to fix this?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.5

when upgraded iCloud it is still showing full my iCloud storage was showing full and there was nothing I wanted deleted, so I upgraded, it is still showing full??
