Family Apple Watch setup-emergency contacts

I have successfully set up an Apple Watch for my daughter using family setup. Her contacts are listed correctly on the watch under contacts. However, when selecting the emergency contacts during setup my contacts as the parent/organizer are the only ones to choose from. When I try to select my name it is grayed out. I don’t understand why it is pulling up my contact list instead of hers. Any ideas??

Apple Watch Via Family Sharing Not Syncing Contacts with iCloud Hey community, I recently setup three new watches for my kids via Family Sharing. Each kid has their own iCloud account. Two of the watch setups went smoothly, the third however is a bit frustrating. I can update the child's contact list with my phone just fine. Their iCloud account syncs those contacts just fine. However... The Contacts app on the watch won't sync the contacts. The watch is signed in and shows up and respond to Find My. I've reset, restarted, turned contact syncing off and on on the watch, unpaired and repaired the watch and just nothing. Any suggestions?

Apple Watch Contacts for Child I set up my child’s Apple Watch through family setup. She has her own Apple ID and uses it on the watch and on her iPad. She has contacts on the iPad (friends and group texts) that I don’t want her to be able to access on the watch. If I look at the allowed contacts on her watch these numbers/addresses aren’t on the list. However, she will still receive an alert from Messages on her watch from these contacts (and other spam numbers as well). The system blocks her from reading the text if she clicks on it but she still gets an alert that the message has come in. The point of limiting the contacts on the watch is not only so she can’t read the texts but also so she isn’t interrupted with unimportant text messages. Is there a way to have separate allowed contacts on the iPad and the watch and/or a way to only allow alerts on the watch from specific contacts?

Can't set up Apple Watch Contact Management Setting up two watches for Family Sharing - one worked fine and the second one will not. Communication Limits screen says "Contacts Pending", "Contact Management request sent to xxxx, You can manage xxxx's contacts after the request has been requested" request never came to watch. I have restarted everything and also completely reset watch and started over. Where is the request? Can it not be resent?
