Uploaded 13.5.2 Lost Epson xp-6100

Does installing Ventura 13.5.2 as I did last week when prompted mean that I've got buy a new printer? I have an Epson XP-6100. Because I got nothing but "print service is not available" or 'Filter' failed messages, I tried downloading and installing the driver on the Epson site that was listed as recommended for Ventura 13.5.2. However when I tried installing the driver, the printer would not respond when I hit the print test page. It just recycled back to the beginning of the start installation window.

I just bought a new set of inks. Don't tell me it's time to toss the printer. Aggravating.
