What if my light turns green when I plug it in but when I take the charger out it goes completely out until I plug it up again

I am having that same problem, and it gets worse. Sometimes, it will stop charging completely even though it says the case is 99-100% charged, and the right AirPods (which I just had replaced) will randomly stop charging. Also, when it is charging, and I am doing something on my iPhone or iPad Pro, it will randomly connect and disconnect. It was so bad that I thought they were toast till I plugged them in today, and it started charging both sides, but the case will not stay on when unplugged. I just spoke with support, and they are sending me to a local authorized store to have it checked out. Most likely, it is going to have to be replaced. I will update this later after I speak with an in-store rep.
