Whenever I try to download a app “confirm with assistive touch” always pops up.

answer to this issue is under Settings/Accessibilty/Side Button, scroll down to SIDE BUTTON CONFIRMATION. Select Enable Confirm AssistiveTouch, then select AssistiveTouch then select Customize Top Level Menu. Add ApplePay. You’re done adding ApplePay. Next time you need to Confirm purchase ApplePay will part of the button to select.

I haven’t figured out to disable the prompt for AssitiveTouch but this will allow you to download app for the meanwhile.

Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Assistive Touch > Confirm With Assistive Touch > [off]

Wouldn’t surprise me that Siri could be used to turn that on or off with “Turn off Confirm with Assistive Touch” or some such, too.

Turn the setting off. Sign out of the App Store. Force Restart. Log into the App Store. Try again.

To sign out of the app store, launch the App Store app, tap the round icon in the upper right, scroll to the bottom, tap Sign Out.

To sign back in after the forced restart, access the same page and enter your Apple ID and password and tap Sign In.

I tried turning that AssistiveTouch off.. it will still pop up when you want to download an app, and asked that it needs to be turned on.
