mac game has missing music

I like to play games on my Mac and have two favorites, Mystery Case File: Madam Fate and Mystery Case File: Return To Raenhurst. Both games load and play in OS 12.6.9 but are missing the music, I can hear and adjust the Effects and Environment sounds and they work, but there is no music. It makes the game less appealing. Why is this happening? What am can I do?
