I have been unable to get updates (threat information updates) for Bitdefender Virus Scanner since 13.09.2023, i.e., when I updated MacOS Ventura from 13.5.1 to 13.5.2
On 13.5.1 the Bitdefender updates could be received

Uninstall third party antivirus apps. They are not needed. Such apps use system resources while providing no benefit. And they may cause problems.
The MacOS has security built in.
