Why is family member being asked for my CVV code, this problem has been around since 2018 why isn’t the request sent to the owner of the credit card?

My son has request to buy an app then he is asked to supply the CVV number of my credit card

he has been asked to activate the payment method, by adding the CVV number

the number has been used by Apple 2 days ago to make a subscription payment

On my wife’s phone, I cannot buy anything. If I go into Payments and Shipping on her Apple ID, it shows my card and says it needs to be verified. When I try to go in, it asks me for the CVV number. Payment Verification If you’re listed as an adult or parent on family sharing, why do we constantly get a pop-up requesting payment verification? I’ve tested putting an iTunes gift card on the account, it defaults to verifying the visa over, using the iTunes gift card balance. This is incredibly inconvenient and annoying and should be fixed or the organizer should at least be given the option to allow for purchases without verification from other adults or parents.

approve payment card my husband and I have family sharing on our iPhones and he is the organizer. his payment card is now registered on my mobile and mine says that it is only approved for paying subscriptions with. i can't remove his card or remove my own. or approve them for use. and they write that if I cannot approve I must contact the organizer. but we can't see anything on his mobile that would be to blame for it or remove it from his. anyone who can help?
