Apple Music Playlist Auto-Download

iPhone 11. The other day I accidentally clicked download at the top on a playlist with like 2500 songs on it. Now, every time I get onto the app for the last few days there is another group of songs downloading. Very annoying, but now every new song that I add to that playlist is automatically downloading as well. I’ve tried switching auto downloads on and off in settings but it didn’t help. Not sure what I can do to stop these downloads

Hi alden195,

Although the title of this article doesn't match the issue you've described, the steps may still help since the Music app isn't behaving as expected: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

1. Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

2. Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

3. Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

4. Delete the app, then redownload it
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

Keep in mind that when you delete the app and redownload it, you may lose content that you downloaded for offline use.

Regards.
