iPhone volume on silent

I have been playing roblox for a few years. I prefer my phone on silent at all times, especially while playing games. I’ve had the silent ringer button on and still been able to have sound while playing my games in roblox. This is the second time this month that something switched and I’m no longer able to hear my sound unless my silent mode button gets switched off. Was this an update?

How do I go about fixing this? I already know I could set up focus or do not disturb, but I want my notifications, I just don’t want to hear them while I’m playing my games. and I know it can be done because I’ve been doing it for years. Idk what changed

Hello desira96,

If you have not already done so, verify that your Ring/Silent button is enabled. Here's a guide to help: Use the side, Home, and other buttons on your iPhone - Apple Support.

Ring/Silent

Use the ring/silent switch to mute sounds and alerts.
If the switch shows orange, it means your iPhone is in silent mode and will vibrate for incoming calls or alerts. When in silent mode, the alarms you set in the Clock app will still sound, and calls from Favorite contacts will still ring.

We hope this information helps you out.

Cheers!
