Storage issues/Movies Duplicated in iTunes/Documents????

When i open up my systems setting on Mac, go to General/Storage it show that i am using 864.75 GB of 1.03TB used for a few seconds. Then it changes to 1.56 TB of 1.03 TB used. It is double counting all of my movies. I will post photos. It then shows that my Documents has 742.11 GB being used. When i click on the information tab next to Documents/Large Files.. it's all my movies...?? That was just the first part...Now when i go to Finder and am looking for my storage all my movies are under iTunes/Movies. iTunes shows 733.53 GB being used and if i open tabs it shows Movies in iTunes is 690.91 GB. I really dont care where my movies are being stored on Mac but the problem is that System setting is double counting my movies in Documents and iTunes. Any suggestion would help...Hey Apple im a iPod,iphone, time capsule, iPad, Mac owner...how about a little help here or a phone call to help me out. thank you

Hello Goldsachstrader,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

Let's go ahead and restart your Mac. Even though this is a simple step it may help with issues like this:

"Restart your Mac

  • On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Restart.
  • If you don’t want app windows that are open to reopen when your Mac restarts, deselect “Reopen windows when logging back in."

Additional details can be found here: Shut down or restart your Mac

If the issue persists, let's look into rebuilding spotlight as well using these steps: Rebuild the Spotlight index on your Mac

If the issue persists, can you provide a few more details? Which macOS version do you currently have? Also, when did you first notice this?

Cheers!
