I bought a screen protector for my new 11-inch iPad Pro. After I applied my protector, there were some bubbles on the screen. Thus, I removed some of the bubbles by pressing down on them. Although the screen looks fine for now, I'm worried it might damage the screen.

Excessive force can damage the screen. However, if it doesn’t show any signs of damage after you have turned it back on you’re most likely okay. Using a credit card or something of the like that can distribute the pressure over a larger section of the screen is usually the best way to go and the card itself can flex to avoid putting too much pressure on the screen. That being said, if everything looks okay after you have applied it and the bubbles are gone it should be okay.
