Acorn TV on Apple TV

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities.

Is it possible that you signed up to an Acorn subscription (which requires the Acorn TV app for viewing), over adding it as an Apple TV channel? If you follow the steps below, are you seeing it listed as a channel?

"Watch Apple TV channels in the Apple TV app

1. Open the Apple TV app.
2. Go to Watch Now.
3. Scroll down to My Channels.
4. Open the channel to stream content included with your channel subscription in the Apple TV app, without having to download the channel's app.

With Apple TV channels, you can:

• Access your subscription on any device that's signed in to the Apple TV app with your Apple ID.
• Stream content from a channel on up to 3 devices at the same time if you're part of a Family Sharing group.2 Some channels might allow you to stream on more than 3 devices simultaneously. Learn more about limits for streaming on multiple devices.
• Download content from channels that you subscribe to in the Apple TV app.

For some Apple TV channels, you might be able to sign in to that channel's website or app with the same Apple ID that you use to watch content in the Apple TV app.

If you have trouble accessing a subscription to an Apple TV channel in the Apple TV app, you might need to cancel your subscription on that channel's website or app, then subscribe to the channel again in the Apple TV app."

Acorn channel isn’t listed under my Apple TV channels and is not appearing in the App Store for our LG TV. When I find Acorn under Apple TV streaming service I am asked to subscribe in order to watch
