AppleTV4

Apple TV HD (4th generation) does not support Dolby Vision. Did you mean an Apple TV 4K box?

For HDR10+ support, you’ll need an Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) [A2737 or A2843].

For 4K HDR/Dolby Vision, it is recommended to use HDMI cables rated for 18 Gbps or better, to enable this functionality that the devices have to offer. Be sure to configure Apple TV for 4:2:0 chroma, as 4K HDR 60Hz 4:4:4 will exceed the limits for ‘18 Gbps’ connections.

For when both devices on either end use HDMI 2.1 ports, then a 48 Gbps rated cable is recommended, to enable all functionality that the devices have to offer.

HDCP is a function for the devices, not the cable. The cable itself is unaware of such properties, and just passes it through.

QNQ65F,

No Samsung TV supports Dolby Vision. Instead this model supports SDR, HDR10, and HDR10+.
