i ordered my phone online and i believe that this may be why my billing address was locked onto the phone. but i feel violated by this and want it removed. i even tried adding a payment method and removing it, but the address stayed. why is there no way to delete this? i don’t think it’s ok.

To change the billing address you can do (macOS & Windows OS) via iTunes
Start Music (-> Click on iTunes) -> side bar click iTunes Store -> go to Account (top bar) -> View Account -> Sign in -> Apple ID Summary -> Billing Address -> Edit.
or
(iPhone & iPad) Go to -> Settings -> tap your Profile -> Payment and shipping -> Change Address.
Edit the Address -> tap Done.
can’t remove billing address - not change.
