USB-C port only works if an SD card is inserted at the same time

I have a 2021 Macbook Pro 16" M1 Max with Ventura 13.5.1 (22G90). The USB-C port next to the SD card slot only works when I inserted an SD card. As soon as I remove the SD card, the device is disconnected from the USB-C port at the same time. Does anyone have an idea why? (--> YouTube Video)

I have already run the Apple diagnostic program. This says everything is fine. Of course, I also restarted the Macbook several times and tested the port (unsuccessfully) with various USB-C devices. There is also no dirt in the USB-C port.

Thanks.

I have now been to an Apple certified service provider. The service provider wants over 1000 euros to replace the logic board and cannot explain the problem. Why does the logic board need to be replaced? The device didn't fall down, get wet or anything like that. My old Macbook easily lasted 10 years. And this model, which cost almost 5000 euros, is now defective after just 13 months - 1 month after the end of the warranty. That's really uncool. I suspect a defect in the chip that manages the USB-C ports (part number CD3215/CD3217).
