Help me choosing between Macbook Air M2 16GB or Pro M2 8GB pleaseee😭😭

Hello, i am currently a uni student.

I do some coding and regular video editing.

For my budget, i could only afford a Macbook Air M2 (16GB/265 GB) 8CPU 8GPU or either Macbook Pro M2 (8GB/ 256GB) 8CPU 10GPU as they are similar prices now for edu prices.

It is really hard for me to decide either Air 16GB or Pro 8 GB bc I havent used Mac before.

Could you give me any advise? I am sincerely grateful for any piece of valuable suggestion you give.

If your budget limits you to those two options, I think I would go for the 16GB RAM model. While the 256 GB drive is not large by today’s standards, external SSDs are very fast, and thus can be used for media storage.
