How to fix error CNW001 on a Late 2013 MacBook Pro?

I had a battery replacement. Was using Big Sur at the time. After battery replacement, WIFI no longer works. Tried a number of things to get it working. It is greyed out and I cant do anything. I am current using a dongle and ethernet cable for internet services.

How long ago was the battery replacement?

Did Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider perform the battery replacement?

Or did you have a non-Apple battery installed by a tech?

Or did you replace the battery yourself using a third party battery?

If someone else replaced the battery, then you should have them fix the problem.

If you replaced the battery yourself, then either you have a loose or missing connection on the I/O Board, or you accidentally damaged something during the battery replacement. A tech could have done the same thing.
