To stop the synchronization of network settings between your Mac Studio and other Apple devices, such as your MacBook Pro, iPhone, and iPad, you can follow these steps:
- On your Mac Studio:
- Go to the Apple menu and select "System Preferences."
- Click on "Network."
- In the left sidebar, select "Wi-Fi" (or the wireless network interface you want to configure).
- Click the "Advanced..." button.
- In the Wi-Fi Advanced settings:
- Go to the "Wi-Fi" tab.
- You should see a list of preferred networks. Remove your home Wi-Fi network from this list by selecting it and clicking the minus ("-") button at the bottom of the list.
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
- On your MacBook Pro (and other Apple devices):
- Go to "System Preferences" > "Network" on your MacBook Pro.
- Select "Wi-Fi" in the left sidebar.
- Ensure that your home Wi-Fi network is still listed and set to automatically connect if you want it to connect automatically.
See the pic below

By removing your home Wi-Fi network from the preferred networks list on your Mac Studio, it should no longer automatically connect to your home Wi-Fi network while still allowing Wi-Fi to be enabled for other purposes like AirDrop. Your MacBook Pro and other devices should not be affected by this change and can continue to automatically connect to your home Wi-Fi network.
Remember that this solution assumes that both your Mac Studio and MacBook Pro are signed in to the same Apple ID for iCloud Keychain syncing. If you're still experiencing issues with settings syncing, you may want to check your iCloud settings to ensure that Keychain syncing is enabled or consider signing out of iCloud on one of the devices temporarily to break the sync.
