Hi, so we all probably know about France banning the iPhone 12 and might recall the iPhone 12. So if the iPhones do get recalled, will the users get a new iPhone from Apple or must they spend money again for it? Because I’m currently using an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I’m just curious what is going to happen.
According to this BBC article, sales of the iPhone 12 are halted in France, for now. France's digital minister expects Apple to release a software patch. The article says that Apple only plans to release this update to French users.

It seems unlikely that there will be a recall of the iPhone 12 that will lead to French users getting new phones.
Will I get a new iPhone if my current one is going to get recalled by Apple?
