i have apple cash in canada but i can’t use it

i had apple cash for 3 years now but i can’t use it because i need to be in the United States idk why it’s there, i try everything to get rid of because i can’t use it. so i come ask the community

Apple Cash works in Canada at merchants that accept Apple Pay and Visa cards. Apple Pay also works at merchants that accept Tap-To-Pay, which many people aren’t aware of.

Some merchants restrict the size of Apple Pay transactions. This support article lists the limits in Canada.

It’s an option you can turn on and off. You may have accidentally enabled it. Go to Settings app > Wall & Apple Pay > switch off Apple Cash.

Apple can’t predict where people will live or move to. You don’t have it, because as you pointed out, you can’t apply and have an open account.

Apple Pay uses the Wallet app on iPhone to make purchases at merchants that accept Apple Pay (Tap-To-Pay). Apple Cash is a virtual card in your Wallet app you use to fund the purchases. Canadian stores, many times, require a PIN and the Apple Cash card’s PIN is 0000. Purchases in Canada maybe limited transaction to under $250.

On a personal note I use Apple Cash in when I travel to Canada, about 3 or 4 times a year.

yes i’m reading what you are writing and i do have a iPhone. only problem is i can’t use apple cash because it’s wants me to use a address i don’t have because i don’t live in the us

Maybe you can help, my daughter is traveling to Canada from the US and has an Apple Pay Cash balance…. Will she be able to use that to purchase items or does she need a cc attached to Apple Pay? Thanks, Lara

To change the region to Canada I can change the region on my iPhone. I bought in Canada to United States and Apple Pay will come up in my wallet sorry I mean Apple Cash but it won’t let me use it here.
