How do I stop having a bill payed automatically?

You can download free apps, but you may need to have a valid payment method on file, even if the app you want to download is free. 

You can have a credit card / debit card on file and an Apple Account balance.

If you have set your Apple Account balance as your default payment method, your default payment method will be used first by Apple when you need to make a payment.

Apple will charge your selected payment method for any paid Transactions, including any applicable taxes. If you have also added it to your Apple Wallet, Apple may charge your selected payment method in Apple Wallet using Apple Pay. If you bought something then you have to pay, if you don't pay then you owe that amount to Apple until you pay.

I have an autopay to Rocket Lawyer that needs to be canceled. It was a monthly fee of 39.99. I’ve talked to them twice and they said the payment needs to be canceled by Apple

Can you please confirm that the payment is now cancelled. Thank you.
